Carers Forum

Next Carers Forum Date: Thursday, 10th November 2022
Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm
Where: Great Michael House, 14 Links Place, Edinburgh EH6 7EZ

This Carers Forum will be an opportunity for carers to meet Edinburgh Carers Council's newest three staff members - Isabella Balloch, Emmy Biddle, and Glen Scott - and to hear about their individual roles here at ECC. The Forum is also an ideal place to meet others who may be in similar situations and to raise issues that are important to you as a carer.

For more information or to book your place, please contact rachael@edinburghcarerscouncil.co.uk or call us on 0131 322 8480.

* Please let us know if you think you can attend, as there are limited spaces available, and so we have an idea of numbers for catering purposes. *

If you have never been to a Carers Forum before...
The Carers Forum is a relaxed environment which enables carers the opportunity to meet, look at information about current changes and developments within mental health, and to discuss and collectively address issues to move them forward to make a difference. We can also arrange for speakers to join us at Forums to talk about issues that are meaningful for you. The Forum is open to all unpaid carers supporting someone with mental health difficulties or physical disabilities. This includes carers of people with dementia, learning disability, autism spectrum condition, or acquired brain injury. You do not need to be a member of Edinburgh Carers Council to attend.
You can find further information about the Carers Forum on our website, here: https://edinburghcarerscouncil.co.uk/services/services-forum
