In our newsletter we have details on our next Carers Forum which will be held on Thursday, 20th August 2020 from 12:30pm online via Zoom.

We will have a guest speaker join us: Kathleen Taylor, Participation & Engagement Officer (Carer) at the Mental Welfare Commission. Kathleen will be talking to us about her work and how the Mental Welfare Commission has responded to Covid-19. She is also keen to hear about carers’ experiences during the pandemic.

The Carers Forum is open to all carers supporting someone with mental health difficulties, dementia, acquired brain injury, autistic spectrum condition and learning disabilities from across Lothian. If you haven’t attended a Forum before we will be happy to welcome you! The Carers Forum is a comfortable and relaxed environment for carers to express their own views and raise issues.
