We are looking forward to welcoming Dr Linda Irvine Fitzpatrick (Strategic Programme Manager, Thrive Edinburgh) and Cat Young (Assistant Programme Manager, Thrive Edinburgh) to discuss the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board (IJB) draft strategy plan, More Good Days. The plan will set the direction of the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership for the next three years, and lay the foundations for health and social care provision in Edinburgh.
In advance of our Carers Forum, please take a look at the consultation hub where you can access the draft strategy, an easy read version, and the online survey. Link to Consultation on Council Hub:

If you've not attended a Carers Forum before....
The Carers Forum is open to all unpaid carers (family, friends) supporting someone with mental illness, dementia, learning disability, autism, or acquired brain injury. It's a relaxed setting which enables carers to meet and look at information about current changes and developments within mental health, and to discuss and collectively address issues to move them forward to make a difference. We can also arrange for speakers to join us at Forums to talk about issues that are meaningful for you. You do not need to be a member of Edinburgh Carers to attend. The Forum is also a great place to meet other unpaid carers who may be in similar situations, and to share your experiences.
You can find more information on our Carers Forum page.
