Carers Week Event (Redhall Walled Garden)

Carers Week Event - Redhall Walled Garden

Date/time: Friday 9th June 2023, 11am - 2:30pm
Venue: Redhall Walled Garden (97 Lanark Road, Edinburgh EH14 2LZ)

This year's theme for Carers Week is 'recognising and supporting carers in the community'. We wanted to celebrate carers' incredible contribution to our community by providing a space for you to come together, relax, and have some time out for yourselves.
Join us at Redhall Garden, where we will start off at 11am with an art workshop facilitated by Heather Lucchesi from Lightbulb Arts. No art experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Teas and coffees will be available, with lunch served after the workshop, at 12:30pm. There will be time to chat to others and enjoy the gardens too!

About Redhall Walled Garden... Redhall Walled Garden is an 18th century garden, managed by the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH). It is a working garden which provides a unique setting to support people recovering from mental ill health through therapeutic horticulture. It is located on Lanark Road, on the banks of the Water of Leith. You may have visited Redhall Gardens before for our monthly carers peer support groups or other past events.
